systems@work has released a patch to fix a browser-related issue that can lock entry screens in Chrome and Edge.

We want to make you aware of a change happening in web browsers that may affect how some systems@work screens behave — and to let you know that a patch is already available.
Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge are phasing out an old browser mechanism that many web applications, including systems@work, have relied on for years to tidy up the screen after you close a pop-up window, such as the Selection Tool or the Attachments list.
The most common symptom is that, after closing a pop-up window such as the Selection Tool or the Attachments list, the action buttons at the bottom of the screen disappear and the grid becomes read-only — it can look as though the screen has frozen. Refreshing the page restores normal behaviour, but we understand this is an unwelcome interruption to your workflow.
systems@work has released a patch that permanently resolves this issue by updating the affected screens so they no longer depend on the outdated browser mechanism. The patch is quick to apply and does not affect your data or configuration.
The patch is available free of charge from systems@work Support. Please contact our Support team to request it and arrange a convenient time for your IT team to apply it.
