time@work implementation at Schemantix
First Czech site of Professional Services Automation software package goes live
Prague, June 2001 - LLP Group, a leading provider of financial and business software solutions, announces that Schemantix purchased ten licenses of LLP's Professional Services Automation (PSA) solution, time@work. Schemantix (previously known as Praxis) is an international high-technology company which designs and develops tools to enable the next generation of e-business applications. Schemantix became the first Czech client to use the web-based version of time@work.
"Being a software company focused on web applications, we were happy to find a useful web-based client for data entry and even some maintenance functions included in the implementation. We also see good long-term value in taking advantage of the expense and accounting report features," said Steve Hercher, Director of Professional Services of Schemantix and added: "We had considered other systems, including exploring the notion of creating our own internal time-tracking utility, but after seeing the initial demonstration of time@work it was clear to us that LLP have invested so much into the system that it really made sense to take advantage of that."
"Having a tool that ordinary users will find simple and easy to utilize will make the process of gathering this critical data much more efficient. We expect that people will really want and appreciate having a tool like this as a way to help them stay productive. We see the real long term value of time@work lying in its flexible approach to providing management feedback and expanding that as needed. Companies of our size (45+) already need deeper insight into overall productivity and efficiency than is possible to glean from manual methods," concluded Steve.
"We are pleased to be able to work with another leading Czech technology company. time@work helps companies like Schemantix manage their growth," said Adam Bager, Chairman of LLP Group.
About time@work
time@work is designed for professional services organisations - from accounting firms, tax and management consultancies and law firms to advertising and public relations agencies. The system is designed to support the business requirements of a variety of users, from regional advertising, consulting or IT companies to the multi-company, multi-currency international organisations such as the Big 5 and major systems integrators.
time@work PSA solution helps professional services organisations deal with the following issues:
- Managing growth - the solution is flexible, scalable and integrates with existing systems using XML. With powerful multi-currency, multi-company and multi-lingual capability, time@work supports international expansion.
- Overservicing of clients - research shows that most professional services organisations overservice their clients, either by exceeding agreed levels of service or by charging for only some of the services provided. time@work solves this problem by giving accurate, up to date reporting right down to the level of individual fee-earners on individual projects.
- Cutting administrative overhead - by automating key processes, time@work can help reduce the billing cycle and cut the amount of time employees spend processing data.
